Our client wanted a more functional front landing and walkway along with new plantings that created a cottage garden feel.

APPROACH

The existing landing and stairs were uncomfortable upon entering & exiting the residence.  We designed a significantly larger bluestone walkway that is incorporated directly into the front door landing and driveway for easier access an open feel. 

Their existing driveway was misaligned and in need of renovation. A spur was expanded to hold two cars more comfortably with an easier turning radius.

The existing plants were significantly aged.  We created a new “cottage” style courtyard using a diverse mix of perennials, deciduous and evergreen shrubs.
